TEHRAN -- In a message of
appreciation, Chief of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi has lauded the Iranian nation’s steadfast resistance against “the savage aggression of the Zionist regime.”
The people of Iran will continue to stand firm until the enemy is forced to regret its actions, he said, referring to the continued aggression of the Zionist enemy, which has claimed the lives of nearly 400 Iranians, including children and women.
He commended the Iranian public for their courage and resistance in the face of Zionist aggression.
“The heroic, brave, and devout Muslim nation of Iran has repeatedly shown that it does not surrender to invaders. In confronting the Zionist regime’s attacks, too, our people will resist with all their might,” he said in his message.
“Future generations will proudly recount the stories of your courage and the sacrifices made by the children of this land in our armed forces.”
The top Iranian military commander also paid tribute to martyrs and their families and hoped for the swift recovery of the wounded.
He also praised the solidarity and strong turnout in nationwide rallies on Friday, describing it as a powerful sign of national unity and awareness.
General Mousavi also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support shown to Iran’s armed forces, including the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, Army, Ministry of Defense personnel, police units, border guards, Basij forces, and the anonymous soldiers.
